Chinchilla Persians & Exotic Shorthairs

Based in the pretty village of Seend in Wiltshire, England, this cattery has consistently produced winning cats and kittens for over 30 years.

My name is Rosemary Fisher, and I began breeding Chinchilla Persians with my first female, Brylou Moonstone, in 1974, and went on to produce Grand Champions and Best in Show winners using top English and American bloodlines. As well as aiming to produce good type cats, I try to maintain the characteristics that make these cats so beautiful and unique, their large round eyes and special colouring. CH. Owletts Johnny Depp was the Top Winning Chinchilla in the U.K. in 2005.

I ventured into Exotic Shorthairs in 1987, and breed Solids, Smokes, Tabbies and Torties as well as the precious Silvers and Goldens. Owletts produced the U.K.'s first Exotic Champion, Grand Champion and UK Grand Champion, Owletts Maverick, owned by Gill & Mike Clark of Suzerain Exotics; the first Shaded Silver Grand Champion, GR. CH. Owletts Silver Moonbeam, and the first female Imperial Grand Premier and Tipped Grand Champion IMP. GR. PR. & GR. CH. Owletts Pennies From Heaven. I have added special lines from Russia to my breeding programme with Doll Like's Ocean and Doll Like's Dynamite, with grateful thanks to Olga Mogilnikova.
